I have question about uv

I use the uv for 3 weeks then my animone die and other coral also change going to die after 2 weeks from of the uv come back ok so i want know what happing in my reef




some people say coz the uv kill all bacteria .is that true

That is a 6 watt UV.
I do not believe the UV is to blame.
Have you tested your water for ammonia?
Has anything else been changed in your tank?

I did test befor switch on the uv for ammonia nitrite and nitrate ........ about ammonia and nitrite I don't have coz my tank it is 1 year old about nitrate ( NO 3 ) I have it around 20- 40 in the middle of the kit but ....after 3 weeks also I did test It was same 20-40 in the middle of the kit in this time my colral going to die I switch off the uv after 2 weeks come back ok ....

about the alge come less ..... I thank It's ok for the animone the alge come less ? ?????

I do not believe it could be the UV causing these problems.
How many things have died?
An anemone and what else?

how money hours I should use the uv every day 2 hours or 24 hours

about the algae it good get less or get more

Your nitrate levels are awfully high.
What kind of algae do you have?
Do you have a picture of your tank?
