I have to go to JAPAN!

My company is gearing up to send people over there. I managed to avoid the short-list, though. I am just an electrical guy with no rad skills.

Hope you didn't get shaken up too badly in the quake today (tonight, as the case is with you at the moment).

I am a rad skills trainer. Do you want to get some rad skill? :spin3:
Nope. Don't volunteer for nothin' at work if it is travel away from home for long periods of time. I've worn the dose monitor before, but have never had the honor of wearing a "dead man's stick", as we called them at SRS.

yeah, heard about the quake. glad to hear that you're alright.

the radiation is now showing up here in TN. Greeaat.

Just Iodine-131 it has and 8 day half life and will be completely gone in about 64-90 days. Also very low levels (not enough to harm anyone), still any exposure has a perceivable risk involved.
