I haven't been around much lately...here is what I have been up to!

I haven't been too active on the boards lately as I have been busy doing a lot of fishing and horseback riding (yes it is rough). I look forward to seeing you all at the next meeting though (I hope I can go). I have been doing some painting. Here is my latest piece...It looks 100% better in person but this should give you a good idea. I am working on a Batfish right now. My tank is doing fine although I lost a couple of corals when it got really hot including my favorite acropora. I couldn't afford a chiller this year so I just will stay away from hard corals for the moment. I still have some that are fine, but it was a bummer when my big guy bleached and died. Here is my painting.. One more time...It is much more colorful and vibrant in person... Let me know what you think.

Thanks guys! The actual painting is 12"x12" and I haven't framed it yet. I am going to find out how to get some prints made first. I just started painting because when I when to California and the Monterey aquarium this summer I saw some neat fish art but it was too expensive, so I decided I would just make my own.
