i read a thread where somebody's bubble coral completely died and then revolved again some time later. just out of curiosity i wanted to find dead bubble coral and see if it would come back. i actualy found tree of those and put them under helide lights and started adding itamin C and coral vite. i would feed them but there is nothing but a bone, so there is nobody home to eat. any ideas on what else i can do? because i have no idea where to start, i don't know what i could do to help it to revolve. well, so far i'm at 0, nothing but a bone. i will wait for few month and then i will draw a conclusion if it's possible to bring a bubble coral from the dead.

Sounds like you have a coral skeleton only. If there is any chance for it to REVIVE you would see some sort of tissue in the deepest part of the skeleton. I think you are fighting a losing battle with those skeletons unless they just recently lost most tissue. Otherwise, you'd be better off getting a healthy specimen to keep for your enjoyment.

they died fully over a week ago. i see absolutely nothing but bones. the hope is that maybe if anything is there it's too small to see. i do have a bubble coral. this is just an axperiment to see if it will revolve after complete death. i found three bones that died at somewhat different times. i found all three in one place, where very poor care has been given to those corals prior to the corals' deaths.

It is possible. I only know because I purchased live rock from someone getting out of the hobby years ago. There was a skeleton mixed in the rock and I didn't take the time to remove it before I put it in my tank. The thing was completely brown (no longer white as in those that have recently died.) A few months later, I looked and the thing had come back to life. I was glad I hadn't chucked it out like I was going to.

Good luck with your experiment. Hopefully my experience wasn't just dumb luck.
