i think he's just running a couple powerheads and an airstone on it.
i doubt it'll push enough juice to run lights.
but i've been wrong before.

FYI, the Humane Society on Mackland is taking in dogs for the day for free as sort of a 'doggy cooling station' if you know of someone who doesn't want to leave their pets at home in the heat.
 
i went without power for 16hrs in edwardsville and just switched over the livestock from the 29 to the 75 but i had a battery air pump all is good.
 
I get back from my roadtrip and a monster storm rolls in. Coincidence? At least it didn't happen while I was gone - that could have been ugly. And smelly... :lol:

I have been very lucky in Wentzville - no power outages. I'm not even sure I got rain last night. ;) Good luck to everyone who has to tough out the heat.

BTW - I stopped at Home Depot this afternoon for weed killer and the first thing out of an employee's mouth was, "before you ask, we're out of generators." Hopefully if you need one you already have one.
 
rain was the least of the concern last night as there was very little in edwardsville the skies looked like armageddon was coming and it did,
 
McBeck-- I'm in Wentzville and (unfortunately) was first in line for the generators at the Depot last night :( Power back on this morning though! I'm glad everything is ok with you.
 
Any one have a power generator close to me? I have to go down to S-F scout ranch tonight and am worried about leaving the truck running that long with just the Mrs. here. If so call my cell. I'll write this backwards for all the number searching software on the net. 8948-322-413
 
Just the main pump alternating with the frag tank pump and the other tanks. But I need to get off here now to give power back to some air stones.
 
Sure wish I could offer more than words of encouragement doc. Best I could have done was ram the car in front of me I saw on the way home from work today that had the brand new generator hanging out of the trunk. :rolleyes: Hope things do ok.

I made it through the night getting up every hour and turning the truck on for an hour and then off for an hour. I did sleep 3 in a row and the truck started up really easy.

I'm now on a generator and everything is running except my halides to conserve but I could probably run it. Also have the fridge and 1 window a/c unit. And of course the computer.
