Well you didn't buy this...

what did you buy?

Mike

I love the white gorg! I hope that one shows up again in the future.

Those spiral corals are actually not gorgs but black corals. Also, they're probably photosynthetic. Look at the lighting requirements - DD will usually tell you if they are non-photo.

WoW that last white one is insane!!!!

Just wait... the Baja permits finally came through after years of waiting. There are a lot of very cool gorg's down there as well as NPS blood red epizoanthids.

I can't wait for some sweet gorgs.

Uhuru I forgot that the corkscrews were black corals. Live Aq says they are azoo.

Nice haul ReefMonger!

I just got my DD shipment in today. Got a Disto, a blue sponge, and a black sponge (both maricultured).

The spiral coral is not photosynthetic. I bought one from DD and it LOVES mysis, and cyclopeeze. The polyps are sticky and they will grab onto and consume the foods. The skin is so thin that you can see what it has eaten.

If you feed it... it will grow.

Here's what it looked like the day I got it:

Here it is a month later:

I think I love the corkscrew gorgs the most out of all the NPS

You will enjoy the white gorg. It is growing quick and came in the same as Aussie shipment as mine :) The spirals are nice but make sure they get enough light.

I had red epizoanthids about 10 years ago when I picked them up from GARF. At the time they grew like weeds. Never seen them since.

Yup we used to sell them to GARF so they could "propagate them" and sell them the very next day. We haven't shipped them in many years. (this was my last job in the industry, wholesale/import/export)

I find it funny at frag swaps when people talk about wanting or trading garf purple bonsia but have no idea what garf is. Sally jo did some cleaver marketing back in the day lol

Well, I had to get in on the action when I saw these corals going so fast. Got my spiral today, here it is
