I just couldn't stay away

I've got a 72 Blazer I'm debating about selling. I don't want to but I have to keep the wife happy.

Let's see that k5 I have a 78 I'm putting a 97 4 door blazer on.

I have two. I bought a 83 a while back on a whim. It was way rougher than i thought it was. It was cut up pretty bad. It also has real ugly flames on it and a cadillac 472 big block in it. A few months ago a long time friend of the family that lives in Louisiana called me wanting to sell his project he didn't have time to finish. It is a 79 that all the frame and body work is done. No drivetrain. I bought it. I have a 5.3 LS motor that is going in it. The 83 now is a parts truck. It is a big project but i am in no hurry to get it done.

I flew to Colorado to buy it 2 years ago. I searched for the right one for several years. I drove it home with out a hiccup.

Well Worked on the tank on this rainy day today i hope to be adding water this week sometime. Just have to get the return plumbed and it will be ready to start cycling. I am starting out with mostly dry rock that i have acid washed and bleached. I had a problem with aptisia and majano before so i want to start with a clean slate. I started my 225 like this and it worked well.

Well It is running. It will take a while to cycle since i am starting it with mostly dry rock. But i am in no hurry. It will give me some time to figure out the apex. Controllers have came a long way since my AC jr.

Let me know if you plan to sell it. I have been looking for one :D

I really like the stand, great craftsmanship and well thought out. It is light years ahead of my current tank build.

New to the club.

Cheers
Tom

Looks good! What light will you be using?

Light mounted now. It is a horrible picture because the light is too bright for my phone. Tank is starting to get a little living action. going to be ordering a start up kit in a little while from IPSF. That will get the critters going and pods growing. Lighting has come a long way since i bought my first MH retro. Using the computer to change the color temp is pretty cool. I am not sure how much money i wasted buying bulbs that i hated the color of.

Coral and Clowns in the tank now. It may be a little early but the tank was doing pretty good and i needed to take the temp tank down.
