Joe, I'm not quite sure (and remember, they'd be larvae, not technically fry...which would be much easier!). I know mandarins need a blend of certain types of phytoplankton along with SS-strain rotifers...

I may try raising some at some point, but that's a ways down the road.

Mandarins, yes; scooters, no.

I'm going to assume scooters would have a fairly similar growth pattern to mandarins, which means it takes about a year to get one up to saleable size. For some reason, commercial culture doesn't seem "worth it" for fish I got from Petco for $6.49 a piece. I can't see anyone paying $75-100 for tank-raised scooters quite yet...
