I like everyone’s aquascaping better than my own is this normal ?

I think it's Change-Itus. I used to suffer from it in the early days... like year zero - thru year 5 or 6. it wears off by years 10 to 14 though... you learn not to screw with it...
Davis suffered from it to. I'd go to the nursinghome to remove those plenums from the tanks, and we'd remove all the rock and inhabitants, and do our work. When done, we'd take turns (4 tanks) putting the rocks back... Since I didn't want to spend all night aquascaping (already past 12am and all). He always seemed to like how I put the rocks, and I seemed to like his placement... yet we were never happy our selves.
Worse, we visit and look at other people's tanks and we like theirs more...
I've finally settled in with it's gonna be what it is, and the important thing is the corals.

Ive found that looking at Quicken and seeing exactly how much I've spent on this "hobby" and all its accoutrements in the past six months tends to be an effective against the change-itus bugs.
common side effects include blurred vision, loss of breath, loss of spouse, and a general lightening of the wallet. You should not get change-itus if you are not independently wealthy, have no carpentry skills, and are without patience.

Kass Kass Kass your tank is really cool someday I would like to see it for real. I have seen some that I didn't really care for to much but most of them all have there unique qualities and you wish you would of done something like that but all and all if you kinda like yours that's all that maters.
Dan, Quicken only accentuates the dark side to this hobby.... You can't put a price on happiness... As the song goes... Can't buy me love.... But you can rent it for a bit...

Not to many other people who read this will know what I'm about to type to you, so find a hideous comfort in it... if you know who minmei and rick hunter are, then, I should assume you did not think Rick should have wound up with Lisa then...? Because if you did, your bias would not have been given away by pairing those 2 together... Or, you did not read further to learn of the Admirals Hunters. And What of Janet....

the whole tale of SDF-1 and its inhabitants lost its luster when lisa and rick hooked up. and It's been so long, I can t even remember the name of the older guy who played mentor to mr. hunter in the early days.... help me out here.

Now that Jason has qued you in on my weakness I may as well come out with it. Yes I suffer from change-itus.
I would have to agree with Jason that the more seperate systems you have the less time you will have to worry about and it will no longer be an issue. NOt to mention to much effort to undertake without some similarly psychotic friends to lend a hand and perhaps a little blood and tears.
