I love my Clarks but this OMG

Yeah, the Lightning is very cool...but they are not even sure if it is a genetic trait yet, or thats the last update that I saw.

Theres a three page argument about these clowns thats filled with information, some really helpfull as well in this forum if you scroll down..

good looking fish man!!! I know the average person would think $1000 for a fish is crazy, but I think $1000 for that fish is a pretty good buy. all the money that's poured into our systems, why shouldn't they have show fish in them!

She's a beauty. If that coloration is genetically linked, the breeder needs to team up with a propagator of rare BTA morphs and sell clownfish-and-anemone sets. Just imagine a pair of those clowns in a Japanese bubbletip!

I think it went for $2500 , If its the only one of it's kind it's priceless right now.

when i first saw the fish awhile back it was going for $5,0000. whats the price tag on these now?

I don't think there is a price tag on them now. I thought there were only 2 ever offered for sale, I'm not sure what the status is on the 1st one. The 2nd one I could be 100% confident in saying it will not be offered for sale.

An interesting fish, but not my thing. Sadly the other one was (in my opinion) a lot nicer looking. Regardless I like the wild holotype look...

look on utube they got vids of more then 2 of them clowns the first one i saw was from japen thats when he said 5 grand. Is there more then 2 of these fish??????

From what I read the first one died being carted from trade show to trade show.

For what it's worth, I think Matt is doing a great job with his fish. People constantly preach patience in this hobby....unless it is someone else's money, and they want what the other person has!

That's a damn shame.

Very true. I'm glad this animal is in the hands of a dedicated breeder instead of a very rich hobbyist, so that captive-bred stock can be made available (assuming that the coloration is a genetic trait and not just a fluke).
