I may be looking for some lps and softie frags. I'm looking for wall and branching hammers, frogspawn, torches, green toadstool, Blue zoas/ palys, armor of god zoas, rainbow palys, Cyphastrea, green pagoda cup, sunny D palys, red blue or purple mushrooms, Acans (anything except micromussa), Blastos, Lobos and other "open brain corals" If you have these let me know. If I don't buy now I will keep you in mind for a later date. Thanks for looking.

Thanks but buffalo is a def to far. it's a shame because there are allot of reefers out that way. Irondequoit is a little far too.

Just imagine if it were ok for any outsiders to pop in here and start threads for things they MAY be looking for (!)
There are other club forums that have been shut down by rampant abuse.

fyi I put maybe because I thought maybe someone I was supposed to meet was going to cancel. and now I have set up 2 meetings for tomorrow. I would think posts about people buying selling and trading frags would be important to this website. Aquaculture is the future of the hobby and I use this site for buying frags and any questions I may have be it imperative, theoretical or just posting interesting things that have happened in my aquariums. Next time I will be sure to leave out the maybe. I understand were you are coming from but it's discouraging. I have met and bought frags from at least 4 different people in the last yr and plan on meeting 2 more tomorrow all of whom I met off reefcentral. Now maybe that's not alot to some of you but to me it is a reasonable amount. This site has a reputation for a reason but I always thought it was worth it because of the amount of frags I buy from it's users. I had almost 50 post the other day when I posted an add for chaeto and I got a warning reminding me that I need at least 50 "MEANINGFUL" posts to post anything for sale. I get the 50 posts to keep spamers out but "meaningful"? now I have 50 posts and I'm scared to post the add again. my posts might not be "meaningful" enough.

The internet is big- I highly doubt that this forum will be clogged. As opposed to off topic subjects that are constantly posted, possibly jamming the forum with selfish subject matter that only relates to one person. Imagine someone asking the local forum for things that are available, ultimately spreading livestock throughout the area and turning URS into a real reefer's club, instead of pontification by a few on how tanks should be run or what is allowed to be posted.

other club forums on RC got clogged in the past with "looking for" and commerce type threads.

Can you imagine if we had strangers dropping by here all the time to post "looking for" threads? Sure- I could make a lot of money. I have a LOT of stuff I could sell. More than most here. Somebody wanna pop in and make me an offer on an adult Emperor Angelfish?

fishare already spammed other club forums and has been warned about breaking the user agreement. I see no reason for a 3rd party to get involved here.

If you don't think this is a REAL reefkeepers forum please go elsewhere.
URS was formed by a handful of people as an open club- there are no dues, no BOD, no pontification of ANYBODY.

This isn't television. There's a user agreement and all threads get read.
