I mixed two clowns

I recently started a new 55g. The first fish in there after the cycle is an ocellaris and a full-grown tomato. The false perc is mine, the tomato my girfriend's. People have told me if you introduce them at the same time they won't fight. I was worried because the tomato is twice the size of the false perc.

They've been in there for about a week and so far so good. They both eat like piggies and generally ignore each other. Will it be all good, or will they eventually fight?

They will and the tomato will win.

Do you know if the Ocellaris is a male or has it changed?

there is a chance they could pair up together. Its been done by a guy on here & he raised a few fry.

Chances are though they will fight eventually & the tomato will kill the Ocellaris. Give plenty of hiding spaces and cover your top or you will probably find the Ocellaris on the floor.
