they are called Black and White Heniochus, they also go by Banner fish. As you can see by the long fin. They are also in the Butterfly family, so be careful in you have any SPS or other corals.

Bannerfish, pennant fish, whimple fish, poor man's moorish idol, B&W heniochus...

No it's not that they get big but he is a free swimming fish as opposed to a goby or similar fish that just kind sits around and is not constantly moving. It's like he's locked in a tiny prison cell.

just my 2 cents

I guess "Big" is a relative term I've seen'em at about 9"-10"

IMO min 55g @ 4'long or a 135 @ 6'long would be fine till he got 5"-6" then you gotta go w/ a big tank 300g+

But thats just me.

Looks like a pennant butterfly to me, perhaps a Heniochus diphreutes

Bannerfish - Heniochus acuminatus

Heniochus diphreutes & H. acuminatus. I personally don't know the difference. For clarification, can you guys describe the differences (physically)? The WetWebMedia pics look IDENTICAL to me
