I need a little help

So I've been having some issues with my sps latley. RTN if you will. My parameters are on par with the normal 8 alk 450 ca, etc. I have noticed these pods during a dip today of a affected coral any one seen them before? They good or are they my tanks plage.
I don't see any flat worms and their eggs or Red/black bugs on the corals.
Any one have any ideas of what would be causing a wide speed RTN on established corals? Some that have been in the tank and growing for 2 years have died over night. Some corals also show STN as well.

Any input would be helpful

Doesn't look like a problem bug. When my tank takes a down turn, I usually change more water, a good water change generally heals all wounds.

I've been doing water changes 25% a week and it seems to make it worse. I'm kinda of lost in what it is. I'm down 13 sps in about 4-5 weeks.

Recent bulb change?, temp shifts/ faulty heater,? large carbon/ GFO change.
Dodgey RO?, dodgey salt bucket?.

what type of salt are you using. A lot of salts are too high in kh especially reef crystals. After I do a water change I turn off dosing for about a day as to let kh return to 7.5. To begin with make sure water parameters are normal, kh 7.5, ca 420, K a big factor often not tested 400, phos .04 or less, nitrate a trace. If all those are correct, look for the more unusual, stray voltage, light bulb change, temp 77 to 78 any higher stresses corals.

There are really too many factors to determine what is wrong with the information given. A reef tank is a balanced aquarium with balanced nutrients. They could be to high to low. If you want my opinion it would really help to see some more pictures of tank, fts some close ups.

If you do not want to do that, you can try what I call rescue mode. Take all gfo out, carbon out and run skimmer only 12 hrs a day, seems radical but it really is not.

I thought I was using red sea salt but it h2ocean pro. Temp swings are maby 1.5 degrees on as water change. I changed the rodi media to be sure it wasn't the issue. I do test a lot of things (weekly) potassium is 410. Ca, alk, mg, etc are stable for the last long while. Id try using some old gac I had from years back during my fresh water days but switched back to rox Carbon. a milli was bleaching (left side) so I dropped the light intensity by 5% and is colored back up. The rtn is weird because it starts in the middle of the corals.

Ouch! that is a heart breaker, watching your acros go from puppies to stn. Can you just try one thing this will rule out malnutrition. Feed a combination of selco or selcon ( one eye dropper full or one pump., with reef roids 1/4 tsp, and a bit of oyster feast (about 1 cc ) all mixed together. Let is stand for a 1/2 hr first and feed with lights on. Use this food once or twice a week.

The selcon is the major appetite booster, it is the bomb of acro foods. Take out your carbon for sure. I personally try to run as little carbon as possible, after removing it you may find improved health in a few days.

So latley I've been noticing that corals are looking likely the tisue is thining on the branches of a couple of my corals. The colour on the base is bleaching and the corolites still hold their color. My rtn/STN issue seems to have ceased and is staring to encrust again. The colour through out my tank look good for the most part.

Any ideas on what would cause sps tissue to thin? What would cause this issue?

I'll post test results shortly.
