i need a new sump...help me please.....

hey all,

i posted this in the hardware forum also...

its time to redo my sump... lessons learned and what i want now...

if anyone has any drawings or a vendor that made a nice one up let me know...

basically tank is 350 8 ft long tank...

it has 3 bean animal style drains entering the sump...

i would like an area for filter socks but easy style...easy lift up and put in... preferably 2 or 3 large socks...

a refugium area..doesnt have to be huge...

then baffles to eliminate bubbles...

few notes...

will be using large external protein skimmer... line from skimmer is 1.5 inches...

then on the end of the sump where the pumps go..i need to have 3 bulkheads to supply different pumps... 1 for skimmer, 1 back to tank, 1 for pellet reactor


space limitations are as follows

would like to keep it around 4-5 feet long..20 or so inches wide and can be as high as 20 inches...if needed


any help/drawings/advice very appreciated

You could eliminate some bulkheads by using in-sump pumps for the skimmer and reactor.
