I need a skimmer

Alright, so I just found out that my skimmer pump has died about a month ago....(no wonder I have had trouble getting rid of my algae bloom). I currently was using a seaclone 100...but also thought the thing was a piece of you know what. So now I am in the market for a good economical skimmer that works wonderfully. Not looking to break the bank. I also feel that I have to do something pretty quickly for the fact that my tank is not being skimmed at the moment. Let me know what you have and we will see if we can make a deal. PICS appreciated

i got a new ASM g2 at shermans for $235 plus tax a while ago. might give them a try. with skimmers i would go new. you never know what other people's skimmers have been through or when their pump is going to take a crap. i like to compare skimmers to used cars. if it was so great, why are they selling it?

I have a large Emperor Aquatics Aquafoam # 1 venturi skimmer and a Mag-Drive 9 pump that worked OK. It didn't give the performance I really wanted but it held its own. It's in good shape, however it is missing a venturi pump converter/attachment. I'm not sure how much they are, but I broke mine moving stuff in the garage :-(.

footprint is 24" tall, 8" x 8" base.

I have a Berlin XL with a mag drive 6 I think, it works, OK as long as you keep it clean, the piece inside that centers the center chamber is broken, but it still works like it is.

$75? I think the pump is worth about this much.
