I need an ro/di unit

Im on a tight budget and was wondering if you had any advice for me before i start the quest to find an ro/di unit?

I got a 50 GPD Kent Marine unit for about $150 I believe. I bought it 4 years ago, I think thats what i paid for it.

The Typhoon units with the 75 gallon per day membrane are the ones to get. This is especially important with you being on a budget. There is a little more cost up front for the Typhoon but because of the efficiency of the Dow Filmtec 75 gpd membrane, you will end up going through DI resin less quickly than with other units. This translates into decreased maintenence costs. I have a Typhoon and have been very pleased with it, and it comes highly recommended by many on RC.

#1 priority - get the Dow Filmtec 75 GPD RO membrane. Everything else is just gravy (well, maybe except for a vertical DI canister).
