I need help on my SUMP-A-FUGE.

I was gonnna go with a 30g sump-a-fuge but decided to go bigger on my sump simply because I didnt know ASMG2 Skimmers were that big, its moded with a gate valve and Sedra5000. Plus it will all look so much cleaner with alot more room to oprerate in that 60g. Plus I have more time for a 60g to fill up on a flood.

Please yall let me know what I can do to make it better I will start this project saturday morning.

And what light should I use for the Refugium? Let me know ASAP, Im going to HD in like 30 minutes.

your #2 will distribute the flow better between both inlets.

the only way #1 would work is if you placed a gate or ball valve on the line that feeds the skimmer, after the split.

youre definately gonna want a gate valve(not ball valve) on the inlet to your skimmer, flow needs to be much less there. Maybe like 90%main, 10% fuge.
