Hello fellow reefers , i have seen so many pictures of reef tanks on here and i must say , you guys and ladies have some of the BEST photo's i have seen . I have a Canon Power Shot ELPH 100 HS , HD Camera . Every time i take a picture , my blue light from my led's washes out the colors i am trying to achieve . Does anybody know what setting i should put my camera on to achieve that HD look in my pictures . Please share your knowledge with me for i can post nice pictures in the future . Thanks

BTW ----> I have a 60" 120 gallon reef , with 2 AI SOL BLUE

i guess ill start by asking what setting is the camera in? I always shoot manual to avoid the camera correcting things for me that lead to the wrong colors, also can you post a pic to see what's going on.

Well i have tried all different setting , but i will take additional picture and write down the setting i'm shooting the picture in . I will have the pic's up in a lil while once i figure out how to do it .

Generally speaking if one is having issues with accurate colors when shooting reef tanks under high color temperature lighting, the easiest and most color accurate solution is to shoot in RAW mode and to set the white balance / color temperature during post processing.

However, I don't think your camera does RAW, so you may have to use a custom white balance you set with the camera. Check your owners manual.
