I have printed the manual for the Controller and the DC8. I have read them and I am soooo lost. I am leaving town for the holidays and I am going to have to buy a timer for the main lights cause I cannot set this thing up. My LFS does not work with this Jr. I also have the temp probe and PH probe. I am clueless! Anybody in the Pines area that could help me out?

The Jr doesn't come with a display. Can you borrow one from someone?
Have you tried to connect it to your home network?
Also try YouTube. There are lots of videos out there that my give you more confidence to fiddle with it.
The Jr I have has the 8 outlet thing and the Display. I also have the PH sensor and Temp sensors both still in the solution. I'll look at those forums but the PDF on both of these things tells me nothing. I am thinking of selling this and going for a Reefkeeper Lite. I hear its "easier" to set up.

xpcgamer- im a tech idiot. I was able to hook up the AC Jr to my computer. Once you do that programming from a computer is VERY easy.
Make sure you AC Jr has a serial port otherwise its all out the door.

Here is a pic of what I have. I do t have any windows machines in my home. Just Mac. I guess I could use my work laptop. Can this one be hooked up?

2. I know nothing about MAC
As i stated before i am not a techie, but i CAN tell you that the AC Jr is very easy to set up from a computer.
if you looked at the thread i posted from 2009 to Neptune RC forum, I got all the help a dummy like me needed.
Edit- I just got the image. You do have the serial port. How this will react with MAC i have no clue. You will need the items mentioned in the thread I posted. Most of that is available on ebay/amazon.

Yes. Cable, Serial to bluetooth adapter, and a blootooth dongle.
