I need help with lighting

So I just got a 60 gallon rimless tank 30x24x19 and I don't know what lighting to get. I was thinking about buying two radions but I think it might be a bit of an overkill? Should I get 2 radions? 1 radion? or 1 radion pro? Is it true that the Radion pro has a bigger spread? I plan on having sps on the tank

One Radion will not cover 30" and grow sps at the same time. You'll need 2, so you are looking at $1500... why?

Go to Reef Breeders and look at the Photon32. You only need one, you can get whatever color leds you want, it puts out more PAR than a Radion (I own a PAR meter), you don't have to hook up a computer to change the controller settings, it's dead quiet, puts out less heat... oh, and at full retail it costs $450 vs $1500 for the Radions. I've had both and I sold my Radion after I got my EverGrow IT2080 (Reef Breeders32). I readily admit Eco Tech makes really great products, but they also really greatly overcharge for them! And in April EverGrow (and maybe Reef Breeders) will offer the light for $275 plus shipping (roughly $35 via air from China) when purchased in a group buy of 12 fixtures or more (mixture of models is OK).

I have a single gen 1 Radion on my 30" x 20" x 20" tank that has LPS and SPS in it.
My corals seem pretty happy and are growing.
You could go with Rons suggestion, which will save some bucks, whether you buy one Radion or two and I'm very sure you would be happy with with Reef Breaders leds. I have several friends that have bought this brand ( from a different source ) that think they are the greatest.
I started with one Radion over my 50 gallon tank and liked it so much I bought 3 more for my 240. I bought the gen 1 Radions which are $600 each.
I absolutely love the computer interface.

Thanks ford the responses guys. Yeah that photon32 looks like a great deal! I just don't know what the different optics mean. I gues I should go with 60 degree optics

So I ended up getting one GHL Mitras LX 6100. Thanks for the help guys the light comes in monday. Can't wait

What are you basing the "overpricing" from? I can easily say the Evergrows are overpriced for what they are too..

Yeah I have to agree. I am sure the lighting of a mitra and radion is way better compared to the evergrows. Also the mitra comes with a built in controller which is a big plus for me. And it also had the lightning effect lol not that I car but my fiancé is happy about it haha
