currently have a 210 inwall setup. i am going to take it out of the wall so the baby can have a room. i put the tank in the wall and have some skills building things...
here is my question. the stand i am wanting to put the tank on will be 8 feet long and about 3 feet wide. i want as much space as i can under the tank. i need to have enough room for a 75 gallon sump, and a big skimmer, as well as some other reef stuff type equipment. the stand has to be made out of wood. with the tank being 6ft long and only 29in wide, i want the tank to sit in the middle of the stand. what is the best way to make sure this tank is supported? does most of the support need to be on the ends? what wood would you use to do this? 2x4s, 2x6s,
the current in wall setup i did all 2x4s... but i have nothing underneath it. with this going in the living room i need to hide all the goodies so no one sees them.
i looked around the big tank section here and could not really find any good pictures of what i am looking for. if you have some pictures or know a good thread that could lead me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated. i look forward to doing a build thread on this great site!
