I NEED HELPAnemones in biocube

i have a 29 gallon biocube an im want to get anemone for my clowns to host to. what type of anemone should i get??

Bta, hardiest and will deal with swings (not major) in water conditions than any other hosting nem. More importantly, how old is the bio cube (when established)
 
It should be mature enough for a bta. Any uncovered powerheads? Cover them before getting a nem, especially btas.
 
Bta stands for Bubble tip anemone. Be aware that it is an animal and not a coral, therefor it will move around in your tank right when you put it in until it finds a spot it likes. Normally it will stay there. You can feed them small bits of meaty foods a few times a week.

What is your setup like? What kind of lights do you have? They are photosynthetic.
 
I kept a BTA with 50/50 powercompacts and it was fine. If you're keeping a clam, in my opinion you can keep a bubble tip. Clams are a lot harder to care for, at least for me!

There are some really beautiful ones out there. Look up Rose bubble tip anemones, green bubble tip anemones, and my favorite are the rainbow bubble tip anemones.
 
Good luck! try not to let yourself get ripped off. Some sellers are outrageous with these fancy anemones. Unless you feel comfortable spending a ton of money, don't. I see really pretty ones go for less than $100. You just have to wait for the right one and price and jump on it!

meaty food as in frozen shrimp?
 
Those go under the designer name of 'purple rain' bubble tips. Husbandry is the same.

Well its all up to the clown and the nem...there really arent any proven ways to make a nem host a clown.

+1 clowns do what they want. I had a BTA with a pair of mine for three months and they never touched it. One morning I walked down, looked into the tank, and all of a sudden the female claimed it and kept the male away. The male slept in my frogspawn instead.
 
I paid 60 for this one.
