i need lighting

I was wondering if this 72" 4 bulb T5 URIs would provide the needed light to add pretty much anything to my tank as far as corals and such, my 180g is 24" deep

the bulbs are 160watts ea x 4 = 640watts

The set-up in that link is for (4) 6' T-12 VHOs. For a 180g tank, I think you will need more light than that to "Keep anything" you want. SPS and clams will not be happy under that amount of light. You will need more. I would suggest (3) 250w Metal Halides. and possibly supplimenting with (2) 6' VHO actinics.

WOW I was hoping the 640 watts of VHOs would really do better than that? So I guess from what you are saying I MUST have MH's...........that sucks! A 72" 3x250 MH w/ 2x VHO atinic your talking about is like $900-$1200......OUCH!!!
