thanks ronert. ive been running into a lot of that. i can get a nice lab grade from Mississippi lime Co but i have to buy about 2000# of it.
it doesnt really have to be that pure. the thing with kalk is that most of the impurities you will find in kalk aren't soluble, and the ones that are will just precipitate out when you mix it anyway. if you can find regular hidrated lime like you put in the garden that will work just fine.
Hi- yup thats the one- the garden center/ produce place. I saw it in the produce area in the canning section (by the bathrooms) wasnt exactly sure it was the correct stuff as I havent used it before, but it was pickling lime with a white and green label.
