Anyone have any extra snails they could bring to the meeting? I'm looking for astrea or nassarius and will gladly pay for them. I need about 20-30 of them.

I would check with Mike about a group buy. Here is the last one with prices. This is old but I think he would still do so.
Mike at the Coral Shoppe has offered the following list to club members. He has stated that he needs to know the total order by 3:00p.m. tomorrow (Tuesday). The very latest he can order would be tomorrow at 4:00p.m. for a friday arrival. Only order if you can pay and pick up at the meeting Friday. Otherwise contact Mike directly for arrangements and possible pricing.

I am not a member yet, but I had been interested in joining the club. Is the meeting this Friday? I would be interested in 6- Nassarius snails, 6-Astrea snails, 1-Fighting Conch, and a Cleaner Shrimp as well. Who do I contact regarding this?

This may be the club's first group buy of the new season. Mike (Coralshoppe.com) offered to extend the following prices to our members. The method we decided on last year was that the group buy orders would be placed and paid in full at the meeting. They can then be ordered in and brought in time for the next meeting by Mike and be ready to take home. The reason for this method is that we can get the money to the vendor and then give them time to get our items for us without too much headache involved.
If you need your items right away then I would suggest going to a local shop or possibly email Mike directly to arrange a pickup date and time.
Anyway, here is the list:

So, there it is... I am in for some cleanup critters and encourage others to do the same. There is a very slim profit margin on these items at this price and then when you consider that Mike and Danielle will house them and then bag them up for us you can see that this is pretty much being done as a favor to us. I would hate to see the sales go to an internet store. We need our local stores to thrive.
I will be collecting the money and writing up each order, then turning it all over to Mike on Friday so please PM me with your order , REAL NAME and reefcentral name so I can keep this clear. I will then try to find each of you at the meeting to collect. If the payment is not made at that time the order will simply be placed without your items.

Thanks for the info!! I'm confused a bit.....do you need to be PM'd before the meeting, or at the meeting?? and I do understand that payment is to be made at the meeting for the order to be processed.
In the list of items that are commonly wanted, you had mentioned sea slugs in different colors. I'm not sure what they look like and what colors they come in. Where would I look for a picture discription? also the orange snails.
As long as he can get other things, I had been wanting a Linkiela Star fish (sp? I have no idea how to spell it!) in blue and if no blue, orange. a small one preferrably. My tank is only 18 gal. and a Shrimp that is red with the white dots on its back. I think its called a fire shrimp???

Chelo's big sis, we just got in 4 orange linkias. They seem to do better than the blues. We have fire cleaners ordered for monday. So sometime next week would be good for anything your looking for. We have an order of inverts coming in thursday night also, so if you NEED any other critters right away we will have them in stock, but everything will be at our normal retail prices, not the group buy pricing.
