I need some additional specs on the 6105 and the controllers.

Scenario:
I am designing an 8ft. x 2ft. x 2ft. peninsula setup with an open top (no hood, suspended lighting). Initially I was looking at putting 2x6105s on the only end that is against a wall (the one short side) and building a closed loop at the far end since 8ft is a bit far for any pump to push.

The closed loop would be in the stand so it is unseen since I really don't want too much on the viewable sides to impede ones view. It is also acrylic with a very small set of openings at the top so I can't use anything that clips on a wall. I am always nervous about drilling in the bottom of a tank and having seals blow, or bulkheads leak with no chance of repairing without draining so if I could lose the closed loop, I'd be happier. :)

Possible solution:
I see you have an easy to mount magnet system with a low outside tank profile so I am considering using 2x6105s at BOTH ends and lose the close loop...but here is my problem.....

Using the 6105s at the far end of the tank (with no hood) leaves me with a good 10ft of distance from pump to outlet. So my question is, how long are the cables from pump to controller, and how long from controller to outlet. If I read it correctly, the instructions make it sound like I have to have the controller less than 3ft. from the pump which means I would need 2 controllers, one at each end.

Are there longer cables available? And how long is the power cord going from the controller to the outlet?

Thanks in advance.

The cables on the pumps are 16ft with an additional 2 feet in cord for the power supply. The cables going to the controller are about 8 or so inches long. You will have plenty of cord for your system.

I think you left out a number on the cable length from the junction block to the controller, should be about 38", a meter. :)

Ok...so I have 3 lengths...forgot about the junction block.

So bottom line....I have 16ft from the wet pump to the first thing I need to mount or keep dry? Sweet. That's really my main concern.

Also...is the outside magnet suitable for submerging? In other words...can I put the magnet INSIDE an overflow chamber? It's not really that important, but it'd give me room for another pump on the one end.

Either way...16ft is a beautiful number. :)

Thanks.
