I need some idea guys & gals

Well I am switching out my lighting next week from a 72" hqi aquaspacelight and going with single 250w single ended bulbs with parabolic reflectors. I need some ideas and possibly pictures of how you have your light mounted(Non Hood)

For those that have not viewed pictures of my tank it is a 180 in-wall so a canopy is really not needed. I was originally thinking of just mounting the reflectors on a pulley type thig-a-ma-jig :) for raising or lowering the lights when working on the tank.

I would love to see some in-walls with this type or configuration

Thanks in advance everybody :)

Here's an option that I did on my new build. I used barn door rails that works well. By pulling it out of the way, you have plenty of access to the tank.

And it pulled out of the way. If you have the room to roll it out, it might be worth thinking about.

Here's another shot with the lights on, but also you can see that the light ballasts sit on top of the hood.

That's pretty sweet! where did you get the rail and the part that slides on the rails?

I purchased mine at a local farm supply store. I made the actual hood out of 2 x 4's, aluminum angle iron and plywood.
