I'm thinking about getting a Quiet one pump for my DIY calcium reactor . I need some opinions on the Quiet One Pumps .

We love our new Quiet One but have very little to compare it to. It really is, well, quiet!

I had a quiet one 300 GPH on my skimmer for a while.. worked great and really was quite quiet..

How long have they been running . For this project I need something that is going to last . The 4000 is only 50 watts , and that = low heat . Heat causes calcium build up in pumps . only 50 watts helps with the power bill as well . Ted
