Need timers, plug strips... or if someone has a Reef Keeper / Aqua Controller Jr for a nice price I will be happy to take it off your hands :)

Let me know, preferably someone in the Hallandale Beach area (33009) or I will be going west to Pembroke Pines in about 30-45 mins I can pick up in that area.

I will be in Miami/Hialeah area tonight and tomorrow also :) All over the place...

Please let me know asap as I would like to get this tank running tomorrow!

Thanks,
-zurc

I've had bad experiences with the HD timers.

If anyone has a coralife dual timer strip, that is really what I am looking for, I can hold off on a controller as I don't know which to get yet :x Of course, unless that perfect deal comes around ;)

thanks,

I would use the homedepot heavy duty timers before using the coralife timer. Good luck with the coralife timer...

I don't have the room underneath a 30g cube for a HD heavy duty timer , lol, I am still planning on trying to jam a kalk mixer and refugium under there.

The coralife timer I had before served me well on my 125g, so I think I will be able to trust it on my 30g ;)

Thanks,

lol. I've had a digital coralife timer for along time, and never had problems. They havn't burned anything down in a bunch of years.....

Are you talking about the same coralife timer that catches fire while away from your home?

I was going to say the same.......but decided not to.:sad2: thats a dangerous timer I concur .

before I bought my controller I used the Dj box and 4 times...dont take up much room and looks pretty nice. You can see it here in the picture when I setup my tank...timers are hidden in the back of the switch box

I agree 100% with the 8 outlet DJ box, individual switches, combined with timers for those items that need them. The convenience alone, of being able to so easily cut on/off individual equipment from one spot makes this item well worth it. Mine cost about $32. Worth every penny.

Anyone know the dimensions of that DJ box? I have to make sure its going to fit underneath my stand.

Thanks for all the comments everyone.

Greatly appreciated.

Thanks, leaving in a couple minutes to go get it... Can anyone recommend some good times to go along with this? Right now, I will only need one for the halides and moonlights, one plug each.

Thanks,

I went and picked up everything, got it all setup, I am very happy with everything and the way its all running. I have took pictures since the start of the build, til the "end" and I will be posting them sometime this week.

Thank you bckane for your help and everyone else :)
