Ronny, if your wife is interested you should get her involved. Does she enjoy the saltwater tanks? My husband enjoys ours but does not know how to test or do water changes. He leaves everything to me. When I'm out of town on business I have to show him again before I leave. I made a cue card of sorts for him on what to check and what to do when the tank was cycling. Ask her, and see. Her answer may surprise you.

She feeds them i have 2 fresh 1 salt . She thinks ther ok but not into hobby at all. She feeds so she tells me. So i 'm kina on my own . She could neve do a partial change .I think I may be able to Get one of my childeren do test for amonia and will have water ready to go . just draw out whats needed and put back in . Still want to do this myself . Difficult to show someone a water chage. could be a problem in tank causing a spike during cycle.
