I/O Breakout box installation???

Hello all

I just ordered in a NS I/O breakout box that I plan to use float switches with to run an auto top of system through my AC3. The part did not come with a manual and I cannot find any info on the NS website or in my AC3's owners manual on how to install the breakout box and program it to run float switches. Could anyone help me with this? thanks!

On the breakout box are labels for each connection which map to the pinouts in the back of the manual; depending on which AC you have will depend on what you connect to which connector. Once you look at the pinout in the back of the manual it may be more clear.

An item to note, the brakout box on a basic AC3 only allows switch 1 and switch 2 to be sensed/used.

To use all switches on the breakout box on an AC3, a PX1000 must be used.

An AC3 only supports 2 switches. The switch inputs on a PX1000 are separate and unique from the switch inputs from the AC3.

Maybe I don't understand what you ment to say???

right, an AC3 supports only 2 switches, so a breakout box on and AC3 will only support 2 switches.

If you connect a px-1000 to your AC3 then connect the breakout box to the px-1000, you can use all switches/connections on the breakout box.

Yes, you would get 2 on the AC3 plus an additional 6 on the PX1000 (for a total of 8);
