I REALLY need a Berghia nudibranch

McCrary

Can't Stop Time
If anyone has aptasia eating nudibranchs I will buy one from you. My fuge is being overrun with aptasia and it is killing my caulerpa in quantity.

I have a peppermint and it has not touched my caulerpa. As a matter of fact, I had to pull some (caulerpa) out because my tank seemed a little crowded with it.

A while back, a guy here in SV (Hereford, I think) posted that he breeds berghias and had a bunch to give away. I think that was his last post, though. I don't know him.

A guy did post a couple months back about free berhais, but he didn't respond to my post about how I would get them from him. But if a peppermint shrimp will get rid of the aptasia then thats the route I will take.

Go to SWSaltwater and get a couple of their Peppermint shrimp, they are fantastic!

I picked up 3 last time I was there and they wiped out all the aptasia in my front showtank in about 2 weeks! and they haven't touched anything else you would want to keep :)

My brother in law tried peppermint shrimp, they didn't do anything to the aiptasia, killed each other quite nicely though.

Someone once told me to try to make sure the pep's were Florida, not Pacific. Like a 3:1 ratio that they would be more likely to chomp the aiptasia.

I am in Burlingame right now, as it is spring break for us U of A students. When I get back I am going to get a pep shrimp.
