Its actually a good thing I can't get 3 phase at home... I would be out another 10-30k in all new wood working tools... oh plus a new bridgeport mill...



Thats a $3800 saw for $1200 looks like its brand new.

its 5hp 1 phase. I would much rather have the 3 phase. A friend of mine that owns a cabinet shop has one thats the 3 phase its like night and day.

That still does not give you a "true" 3 phase.... now a new diesel 3 phase generator..... hmmmmm

We use Phase converters all the time.
Yes it's not "true" 3 phase but your equipment won't know the difference..

I was an electrican for like 6 years and then
I used to work at a local school down off Bradshaw
we used the converters in our lab because the building didn't have 3 phase.

It works great!!!

Garages are usually easy because most are not "finished" and makes running wire easy.
