I think I have a mouse living in my frag tank

Well at least that's what it looks like, I have mouse droppings all over the frag tank bottom(yes in the water). I can't believe that my Bandant shrimp leaves so much # 2 behind it is starting to look really nad..:deadhorse1::deadhorse1:

Have you seen this before on shrimps?

I only added hermits and snails and shrimp since I noticed

Jarrett, don't look at it as a "problem," it's actually a big advantage of a BB tank. The poop is easy to see and you either use a siphon or use a long baster to suck it out. I do this every day in my BB Seahorse and Clownfish broodstock tanks.

It also just goes to show you how much crap goes down into the gravel of your display tank to rot and generate ammonia. Not just snail and shrimp poop, but every one of your fish poops, as well!

I just dont have any fish or anything in my frag tank so I was suprised how much poop one shrimp can do even though i never feed the tank...

Snails make poop like that. also if you have live rock, it can actually shed material that looks like poop too, but its just built up detritus that the organisms are pushing out
