I have had my Plerogyra sinuosa bubble coral for nearly nine years, but I have never seen it eat mushrooms! This fairly large mushroom drifted over to it and was snagged by one of its tentacles. The mushroom was "sucked" in between the tentacles and I watched the bubble ingest it. Poor little guy...not. Just thought I would share--now I know where to put those mushrooms
