I think my Acans are dying

Hello,
I have a bunch of Acan frags some are around a year old other are a few months. I just noticed the acans are receding and the heads are starting to detach from the skeleton base. Please help. Everything else is doing great in the tank(clams, hammer, frogspawn, blasto, mushrooms, zoas, palys, leathers, chalice, and maxi anemones. I will test water when i get back home later today. What do you think it can be or has anyone experienced this problem? I will also post pictures when i get home.

Post your parameters, but definitely check MAG. It's referred to polyp bailout.

when they get brown jelly rot its pretty much a goner, brown jelly comes from infections or tissue that is necrosing pretty much. if you can frag around the brown jelly you might save it but dont let it go or the whole thing will be gone in time.

I just checked my parameters and they were off a little. I will be doing some water changes over the next few days.
