I think these are SWEET!

LOL Serious damage, all right. I've found that when I start running out of room, I wind up trading stuff out of the tank to people to make room for whatever the new passion is. Either that or I buy a new tank. I think my next major purpose will be a nano for a bedside zoa tank. I saw the 12 gal one with deluxe lighting, but would rather find the 24 gallon one somewhere?

Who knows

It gets better Laurie.

As you do this longer you will notice your impulse will lessen.
It can get worse too, but usually you run out of money or room in your tank before you can do some serious damage.

You fit in perfectly here. Just ask Karen, (ecotoxlady) I think she ran out of room. Hopefully she'll hold off on the bigger tank...;)

Didn't get better yet Bill :mixed: I'm still as hopeless an addict as ever but at least I have cool zoas :p Will likely be moving soon though so I'm dreading that like you wouldn't believe after losing my nano to my crash when I moved here and learning about your crash *sigh*. Lifes little tests, eh?!

Maybe you could see if a local friend could take them in their tank, and then mail your zoas over night after the new house is set up?

Then they would go from one stable environment to another maybe?

hehe My progression over the last nine and a half years has been 40H until out of college. Moved it to Nashville. Set up a 10g, then a 20L 'for the wife'. Moved both into my house (a different move,4 years ago-the downward spiral starts spinning faster;)) and was given a 55 with the house. Had the 20L, 40H FOWLR ,and 55 reef for a while. Then upgraded the 55 to a 125, so the 40H was upgraded to the 55. Shortly after, the 55 became a 75. Then came the 10 gallon frag tank followed by the additional 20L QT tank a year or so later. The 75 is now a 120, and I have added a 5.5 at work and (2)-100 gallon rubbermaid tubs with rock to the living room. So, a 125 main display, 120 soon to be LPS/Zoa tank, 10 frag, 20L softie reef (wife's), 20L QT, 5.5 softie, (2)-100 gallon rubbermaids... Am I a junkie:rolleyes:????

Hahahahaha, THAT'S why you picked that house, isn't it?? Be truthful now!

Definitely have someone hold them for you. Someone with a tank that is doing really well.
Don't take a chance with that, otherwise you'll be rebuilding like me.

laurie,

I need a bigger house. I had to resort to poutting the rubbermaid tubs in the living rom bcause there is no more wall space for tanks and the tubs were too big to fit through the door;). The hobby picks the house next time:D.
