I think this anemone might just pull through.

I'm so excited to finally see some improvement in this anemone. I got it in April and it was steadilly going down hill even though I was feeding it. Then at the end of July I started feeding it krill. Just take a look at it's progress over the last few days!! It's finally starting to color up and its tentacles are getting longer. Just had to share. :)

I was hoping someone on here might know. It was sold to me as a sebae but I have no idea if it might be malu or crispa. I thought it looked a little like magnifica. It started in the sand and moved up to the rock a few inches. Foot is tan but seems to be getting more color the last few days. I guess we will see when/if it recovers.

Can you get a picture of the column. Crispa, Malu or LTA all have veracue underside.
I can r/o some of the host anemones like LTA, any of the carpets, Unlikely to be Crispa or Malu. This leave the possibility of Magnifica or BTA. We can rule out/or rule in Crispa and Malu with a picture of the column.

Did you read the thread on zooanthallae transplant?

I can't seem to get a picture of the column, but the few times I have seen it I did not see any veracue. I did see the zooanthallae transplant thread. Really interesting stuff!! I don't think I'm brave enough to try it though. :)

Is yellow a common color for a crispa's foot? I have been noticing this faint yellow spot on his foot and I don't know if it is color coming back or what. What do you all think?

Hmm. Do you think it could be leftover dye? It seems to be getting brighter, though. I thought it was a sign of his color coming back.
