Krazy, you have beautiful pics....I would like to start w/live corals...what do you thin i should start with?
I have a 55 gal tank w.rocks and dead corals, but will start to thro out old stuff and get new live stuff.

What lighting (type and wattage) do you have currently?
That will decide what types you can start with...

What corals would you like to get?

How long has your setup been running?

For the most part assuming you have at least power compact lighting, I would say to try some xenia, green star polyps, mushrooms, some zoo's, they are all some of the more hardy corals. Xenia is a weird coral, its kinda fussy out of those I mentioned but I look to it as a water quality indicator, if something is "weird" with my water the xenia will act funny and that kinda tells me to take a test to further inspect... Its an invasive coral though if it does well, I had to yank it all off my rock, I now just leave it on the back glass...
