Yeah...scared the crap out of myself. Come home from work and find both of my tanks look odd and one the soft corals are really looking stressed and closed up. Checked a few things then looked at the temp on my "stick on" thermometers (I have glass floating ones, but you have to go hunting in the tank for them). Both show no temp...thats odd. go find the glass ones in both tanks...it was because the temp was so high it was off the sticky therms scale.... One tank that runs MH was reading 90 :eek1:
My ac has been busted since I moved in and I guess it got hotter in there than I realized. I turned off lights, opened the hood on one, added cool topoff water and turned on fans. Got them down to a fairly decent temp after 2 hours and am leaving the lights off today. Hopefully by tues I will have air.. hopefully....
