I want a Ritteri

I have a Gigantea and a Haddoni and am moving them to a 240G cube this weekend. I'd like to eventually pickup a Ritteri as I've always loved the looks of them. Is there anything I should know about them that is outside of normal anemone care?

Lots of light and YES they are flow hogs.

Its weird, mine really does not like flow. It has a big beautiful purple column but he will not expose it to direct flow. He doesn't hide it in a hole like a bta, but he certainly doesn't perch himself on a shelf like u see with all these other ritteris. Strange. He does like light however!!

Hey if he ain't moving he's happy. Run with it! Mines got a vortech shooting right over his oral disc and loving it but he's not getting his face melted off by it like some you see in videos.

They will usually seek out the most flow they can get. However, when they are getting blasted constantly they tend to remain hunched down low to their rock. I prefer to see the column of mine. Therefore, I allow most of the flow to be above the nem and not directly at it. In that situation, they tend to reach up for the extra flow displaying their beautiful and unique columns.
