Wow. that IS beautiful....but good luck with that, $100 for a ricordea....i couldnt pull it, but if you do....take lots of pictures...lol
 
You know I was looking at that today ironically. Figures, right? But I have a hunch it isn't so much WYSIWYG as their divers den. plus you have to pay shipping which means you'd be paying more than the pink one locally :)

I do have a purple one I got from a local friend that if it makes babis I could trade with you.. or you could trade with him if he's around or gets back up here (Hi keith, hope your move goes well!)

its kinda purply teal.. not quite as stunning as that but i like it very well

Yeah that one is pretty too. I just cant bring myself to pay 100 for one polyp...no matter how much I like it. Darn expensive pretty stuff :(
 
On the bright side 1 polyp eventually turns into 2.. then eventually you might get 4.. then 8.. if they all grow out well :)

I have some boring neon green and purple yumas, if you're ever looking to trade. I also have a single orange that is thinking about splitting.

That's it. I'm coming to pick my baby up tomorrow. You just can't keep me drooling this long over your other similar yumas that are just fantastic looking omg.

The idea is to not have them die :) I've only had 2 mushrooms not do well under my care... One was from shipping.. the sanctithomaes don't do well if they aren't attached to something. The other was this wild caught yuma I got that totally freaked out with the change in lighting. The one I have at SITC has been there for a good week almost two and it should be okay if it can last that long. i've got a special place for it at home. I hope it joins my army of mushrooms that will eventually take over the world. I mean, my tank :)
 
Marcye, that one is so pretty! I told myself that if I am going to spend alot of money on one thing for my tank, it will be a helfrichi firefish. And then I will spend countless hours a day praying that it doesnt die.
 
Haha you and me both Becca :) I've never even had a firefish before but I will soon.. a $10 one is better to start out with for practice no? At least the tank it'll go in has a lid so NO jumping!
 
I have 2 red firefish, and they are so much fun to watch. One of them is still really skiddish, but the other is always out in the open, flicking his way throughout the tank. Ill have a helfrichi one day :)
