I want to attempt this.....

Hey guys I really want to cut my brain coral in haft. And to see if I can do it in peace. I never done brain before. I done mushroom and easy corals. But a brain never. I know that you are suppose to cut the mouth in haft. Should I do it? Or just let it be? I have 10 brain corals from red metallic to regular green. I have a saw and a drummel. NOT sure which one is best to use. If you done this before please post a picture. Thanks.

You could cut it like a pizza as long as you have some as the mouth. Though i would start a half cut. Ive done this with other coral with no problem's.

Thanks that was a good read. I glance at it, but I have to start reading the whole thing now..=) A lot of good info. I will post when I'm done with pictures and details.

I've seen it done before with success, but I'm always afarid to cut some corals.
