I was thinking about building a pod trap

I want to seed my two nano's with pods from my main tank. So I was thinking about taking a gatorade bottle, since it has a wide mouth, and shoving a bunch of live rock rubble in it and putting it in my sump for a week them emptying it in to the other tanks. would this work? is there a better way of doing it?

A small pile of rocks in your tank will work too.

You could always get some chaeto and put it in the sump and than shake it into the tanks. It's been some advice in the past on other threads.

I've seen "Pod Condos" built out of gutter guard and zip ties w/ rock rubble inside. Seem like it would work better because the pod can get in and out at any point they want.
