I would love to see pics of sump rooms

It's a work in progress, but here you go:

Old photos, Andy....we know it is more finished now...

Here's mine. There is only a 6' x 6' space that is the sump room. It is difficult to photograph...I've yet to find a camera with a wide enough lens to get it all in.

:) Actually, not so much. We're still gluing pipes, so the equipment is still strewn about. Although it _has_ all moved to the other side of the room. The builder decided that he needed more insulation on the outside wall as a vapor barrier so they moved everything.

Are you setting up breading tanks Andy?

I am, but I haven't started building those racks yet. Ultimately all of the tanks you see above are mostly intended to add water volume to the display system (so I can overstock the display a bit) and serve functions (RDSB, algae filter, water change tank, etc.). But, I've set it up so that each of those tanks can be isolated from the display tank at the twist of a ball valve. In the short-term I can use them as isolation and QT tanks so that I can buy livestock as they become available and still time additions to the display tank on my schedule, not the whims of the fish collectors.

But who am I kidding? :) If something I want to breed strikes my fancy and needs larger tanks but wouldn't work out with my display, I have the space available. For example, I'd love to turn one of those into a seahorse tank at some point.

But you didn't have to polish the cabinets just to take the pics !!!

Here a couple shots of mine. First is my old 260. Sump was in the basement below the first floor diplay. Second pic is of my recently dismantled 420. Sump room was behind display.
