Is this nothing more than super glue?

I'm almost out of IC gel but thought i had read super glue is the same thing?

I know at $1 store you can get 3 little tubes of the super glue for a buck.

But wanted to make sure it is reef safe!

Yes almost 99.9% of "Super Glue" is safe.
Infact I've never found a super glue that is not reef safe, but you never know so there's a 0.01% chance.

I LOVE the Loctite GEL

Whatever you do get the GEL!!
Before I got hooked on Loctite, I used to buy the contractor pack of super glue GEL at lowes or Home depot.

The regular stuff is too runny, you need to buy the Gel type. I've also noticed the tube doesn't dry out like the normal stuff, I've been able to open & close my tube innumerable times.

Id say half of my frags that Ive mounted have been from the dollar store 3 pk. Definately reef safe, and dirt cheap.

I've been using Zap Gel becasue the people at GARF sent me some a while back...

per justins recommandation,tried the dollar shop 3 tube brand of gel,it works great and its cheap:rollface:
