Ice Cap one plug?

This is a 4 bulb kit, and appears to have only one plug. http://www.aquacave.com/24-4-lamp-complete-t-5-brretrofit-kit-by-icecap-1848.html# I assume that means that all the lamps will either be one or off, and that I can not run 2 bulbs on and 2 off.

I was looking at getting 2 of the 2 lamp kits, but that is almost double this price. Are there any ways to buy the 4 bulb kit, and be able to run 2 lamps?

If you want to switch two bulbs seperate from the others than you will need two of the IC ballasts.

Thats what I thought. That adds the price up quite a bit. Is that a good kit though?

this kit from reefgeek is (2) standard ballasts & seperate power cords to do what you want & includes you choice of bulbs....& they have very cheap shipping rates.

the "downside" of the standard ballast over the 660 ballast in the kit you posted is that this kit won't overdrive the bulbs....but on a tank for 24" bulbs, i think overdriving the bulbs is unnecessary (unless it is over 26" deep)
