I have a frag of this beautiful coral. I have had it for several years with very little growth. It has encrusted well and has stunning color but just no growth. color wise I dont think it can get any better with this piece but it just doesnt grow. Any suggestions? High, med, or low light?
thanks
jeff

I think it's just the nature of the coral, horribly slow growth. My old one sat at the top of the tank in medium flow..

It grow definitely slower than staghorn, digitata, and birdnest, but you should be able to see its grow in fit environment. I personally put low light, good currents area under HQI last tank with great grow. But this time I put it high level under T5, it has better color but slower grow.

They are found deeper in the reef than most other sps we keep, check cairns marine pages for pic where they collect them, perhaps try to replicate this best you can in a tank
