Those are great pics. Last time we had freezing rain up here, I ended up with 2 inches of clear ice on my driveway that slopes to the road at a 10* angle. 60lbs of ice melt and 40lbs of traction sand made it survivable, but kept it fun enough to up the adrenaline when the trucks slide down toward the ditch.
The best part was, because the ice was clear, I could see all the traction sand I laid before I left for vacation safely sealed below that 2 inches of super clear ice.
